David Hoppens is a commercial leader with over 35 years of transportation sales, marketing, pricing, and P&L leadership experience. Mr. Hoppens is currently VP of Sales & Marketing for award winning Landstar Agent, Momentum Transportation.

Mr. Hoppens held VP executive level positions with U.S. Xpress, Inc. and Pacer International, managing sales, marketing, pricing, and operations teams, as well having business unit accountability. At CSX Corporation, Mr. Hoppens held several progressively more responsible commercial roles including Director of Sales. His breadth of experience ranges from implementing brand and go-to-market strategy transformations to integrating and revitalizing sales, marketing, and operations teams.

He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Florida and is past President and a current Board member of the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association. Mr. Hoppens lives in Jacksonville, FL.
